Measure diagonally from the top of the shoulder (point where the neckline of the blouse sits)to the point where the blouse neck opening ends

Round up the measurement to the nearest decimal or whole number whichever is nearest

Slide the tape so it surrounds the torso area just below the arm pits

Make sure the numbers are turned out so that you could read the measurements over the mirror

Spread it out on a hard surface , like a table or desk and make sure the front of the blouse faces up

Curve the tape measure over the armhole stitching line

Note the measurement - this is half of the full length measurement

Double the measurement
